
Training with Julie was a fantastic experience for me, both on a physical and mental level. It provided me with a feeling of improved strength, endurance and desire to want push my own physical limits. Left to my own devices, I sometimes convinced myself that it was okay to skip my run or workout, or do less than I could, but working with Julie provided me with the motivation and encouragement to commit to a regular and consistent workout routine. I went to Julie with a sore back and limited time to exercise. I asked her to help me come up with a routine that I could do anywhere, without equipment and without back pain. She worked with me to develop several routines including variations on each exercise. Julie wrote down these routines so I could use them between our sessions; at work, traveling, wherever and whenever I was up to it. Every time we met she helped me develop each exercise and gave me strategies to come up with my own ways to mix and match workouts. I felt like I gained some real understanding into how the exercises were working for me. She showed me how to stretch, after the workout (a revelation to me) and she pushed me to work harder and made sure I saw some real value for the effort, time and money.
